Chrome plated 'American Diner' Clock
Germany, 1960's
Diameter 26cm, Depth: 5 cm
Price £125 GBP SOLD
This is an excellent American Diner style clock from the 1960's. It is very solidly built with a chrome plated steel body with a hinged front with domed glass. The aluminium clock face has a few marks from use and aging. The chrome is in excellent condition with very little tarnishing. This clock would make a wonderful functional and decorative item which would perfectly complement any contemporary or mid-20th Century inspired interior design.
A new, reliable, high quality, German quartz movement has been fitted for accurate timekeeping and low maintenance (1 AA battery per year) and will give the clock many, many more years of active service.
