This is an elegant set of six original teak and paper cord chairs, from the 1960's, by the renowned Danish designer N.O.Møller. The chairs are exquisitely hand-crafted and the teak has aged beautifully. The teak is in excellent condition - a few nicks on the legs at the bottom, as you'd expect, since they have been in constant use for nearly 50 years. There are no loose joints or splits in the wood work. The paper cord is still tight. Two chairs have water staining on the paper cord (see pictures) but nothing too serious. These chairs are still manufactured to order and retail at over £400 each.
