WMF Wagenfeld Era Lidded Double Jam Pot
Germany 1950's, 1960's
Stainless Cromargen steel and glass
Price: SOLD
Length: 19 cm x 11.5 cm x 7cm
A double breakfast jam pot by WMF from the 50's and 60's, influenced greatly by Wilhelm Wagenfeld's Kubus range of storage jars, and given his involvement with WMF, and the Bauhaus styling, could most probably directed by the designer. Very simple, very practical and elegant. Signed with Cromargen WMF on the underside of the tray. Cromargen is a WMF patented type of stainless steel.
Excellent condition, some very light signs of use consistent with age. Underside scuffs and minor scratches as you'd expect. No chips on the glass, no major scratches, dents or tarnishing of the steel.
A perfect complement to the contemporary / Modernist breakfast table.
