The 'Max and Moritz' salt and pepper shaker set is one of the most iconic Wagenfeld designs, simple and elegant and would perfectly complement any contemporary or Modernist inspired kitchens. This larger version includes a jam pot or mustard pot and sits on a larger tray. Also included is the original hard plastic spoon marked Germany. Wagenfeld's aim was to create an object where beauty and harmony of proportion was determined by its functionality.
The pots are marked with the WMF logo and 'Cromargan Germany'. Cromargan is a WMF patented type of stainless steel.
Pressed glass and stainless steel.

Professor Wilhelm Wagenfeld, 1900-1990, is noted for his severe interpretation and unwavering commitment to the social and aesthetic ideals of the Modern Movement. He prolifically designed utilitarian objects for WMF in Germany, mainly flatware and glassware, and also a range of architectural glass lighting for Lindner.
